To Our Valued Patients
As always, our #1 priority is protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our patients and our staff. With that in mind, we are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and local health agencies for the latest developments regarding COVID-19 and applying appropriate health and safety measures. We are reinforcing these agencies' recommendations and will continue to maintain our high standard of hygiene and sanitary protocols to provide the safest environment for our patients and staff.
At this time, our office will maintain normal business hours Monday to Friday with some Saturday openings. The situation is evolving rapidly, and we will inform you as quickly as possible if there are any modifications to our schedule.
We all have a role to play in keeping each other safe during this time of heightened sensitivity. We ask for you to join in our efforts to ensure everyone's safety by adhering to the following guidelines:
  • If you are experiencing a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms, the current CDC recommendation is to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days. This protocol should be followed if you have been exposed to someone experiencing these symptoms as well. If either of these apply to you, please call our office at (203) 445-0101 to reschedule your appointment. There will be no penalties for canceling or rescheduling your appointment.
  • If you have recently (within the last two weeks) traveled outside of the country, or to an affected area, please call our office at (203) 445-0101to reschedule your appointment. There will be no penalties for canceling or rescheduling your appointment.
  • Practice good hygiene! Washing your hands is one of the most effective ways to prevent yourself and your family from getting sick. Wash your hands often with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds (sing Happy Birthday twice); use hand sanitizer only if soap and water is not available.
We are here for you during this uneasy and challenging time. Please fell free to call us with any questions or concerns .
We hope you and your families continue to stay safe and be well!
Warm regards,
Drs. Neil and Evangeline Specht
