Dr. Specht is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Radiology. He served as the Chief of Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center until 2010 when he opened his independent imaging center, Connecticut Ultrasound & Biopsy Center, followed in 2011 by Women’s Choice Mammography and most recently, Women’s Choice Aesthetics, operated jointly with his wife, Dr. Evangeline S. Specht.
Dr. Specht serves as an instructor at the largest medical convention in the world and is internationally recognized in the field of interventional ultrasound. Dr. Specht has performed more than 25,000 biopsies during his career. Having perfected his Gentle-Touch™ technique, Dr. Specht’s procedures are virtually pain-free and scar-free. Women’s Choice Mammography was the first 3-D mammography center in Fairfield County and offers this superior technology to every patient. Dr. Specht and his staff offer unparalleled personalized care in a warm, relaxed environment.
Dr. Evangeline Specht is a board-certified Internist who has been practicing medicine for more than 25 years. She served as Medical Director for St Francis Occupational Health for several years, until joining Concentra where she took the position as State Medical Director for Connecticut. She has been interested in aesthetic medicine for several years attending many different medical conferences and workshops to get certified. She has been in the practice of aesthetics for several years after joining her husband, Dr. Neil Specht.
Miranda Vincent is a board certified nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) in botox and dermal fillers. She obtained her nursing degree from Salve Regina University and a master’s in nursing from Yale University. She has been practicing medicine for over 20 years.
As an active mom and medical professional, Miranda is committed to helping patients maintain confidence in their appearance. She is committed to lifelong learning and feels each client is unique and needs individualized treatment plans. She is excited to join Women’s Choice Aesthetics as she will be able to offer several state of the art treatments.
Miranda lives in Fairfield with her husband, Mark and their three children. In her free time, she enjoys exercising and attending her children’s sporting events.
Beverly is both a registered radiologic technologist and ultrasonographer. She is certified by the ARDMS in OB/GYN and abdominal sonography and has been in private practice for the last 30 years. Bev, as she is fondly called, is married with three children. She loves traveling to tropical countries and spending time with her family.
Jasmine is our front desk receptionist who started working with us in 2022. She is from the Bronx, NY and moved to Connecticut with her family of four 3 years ago. She has worked as a receptionist in radiology for about 15 years. Since starting at Women's Choice in 2022, she feels like she has been working here for years as the staff has welcomed her as family into the office. She enjoys coming to work every day and interacting with lovely patients is the best part of her day. In her free time, she loves spending time with her two daughters, husband and three cats watching movies at home!
Sandy has worked with Dr. Specht dating back to 2011. During her career, she has worked in the fields of interventional radiology, CT Scan, diagnostic radiology and mammography. Mammography is her area of expertise. Sandy worked with Dr. Specht to establish the 3D Mammography/Tomosynthesis at Women's Choice, being the first mammography center in Fairfield County to offer this technology. Sandy enjoys providing patients with the care and attention that they deserve when they are having a mammogram. "We provide privacy, respect, and a lot of laughter to our patients. Everyone leaves knowing the results of their test."
Pat has been working in the medical field for over 30 years. She has been with Women's Choice since 2020. As an integral part of the team at Women's Choice, Pat takes care of the scheduling needs of all the patients as well as the staff, answers the phone, and makes sure that all medical records are updated daily. In her spare time, Pat loves spending time with her grandchildren and children.
