Laser Genesis

At Women's Choice, we use the ExcelV laser which has 3 different modes that can treat all vascular conditions affecting the skin, from small superficial vessels to large vascular lesions. The laser heats and eliminates the abnormal vessel and restores the skin to its normal skin tone and color. 

Laser Genesis, a treatment which globally treats the skin, gently heats the skin to a certain temperature, creating an increase in collagen and elastic production in the deeper dermis. This leads to improve texture, tightening and toning. Treatments are customized to each patient's skin condition, enabling a previse and effective treatment of everything from superficial blemishes to deep scars.

ExcelV can be effective at treating rosacea, spider veins, telangiectasias, leg veins, cherry angiomas, port wine stain, and poikiloderma of civotte which causes redness over the sides of the neck. Aside from taking care of vascularity on the skin causing redness, it can also take care of brown discoloration over the face, chest, hands, arms and legs as well as removal of certain skin lesions or scars from past surgeries or injuries. 

Excel V contains various different wavelength modes and spot sizes, allowing for the delivery of both short and long pulses enabling us to treat superficial and deep structures. Thus treatment is highly adjusted and treatment areas can be targeted at greater prevision to ensure effective treatment with minimal downtime. This high level of customization, allows us to treat a number of different skin conditions all in the same treatment session. 

Excel V is noninvasive, uses a unique cooling system to protect a patients' skin from secondary damage and mitigate discomfort during treatment, no injections or anesthesia required, temporary redness or swelling may occur which resolves over 1-2 hours, and there is no downtime or disruption to daily lifestyle.
